These are exciting times in the Crown and bridge department. The ever-increasing use of intra oral scanning, printed models and multi-layered translucent Zirconia are becoming the new normal and can give impressive results.
Of course, we still mainly rely on traditional layered porcelain, whether its porcelain fused to metal, layered zirconia or felspathic foil veneers, but in the ever-changing material world of dental technology things are only getting better.
CAD CAM design and milling is beginning to produce some excellent results.
The Arum 5X300 Pro Wet and dry milling machine will enable us to mill many restorations in-house and allow us to offer much quicker turnaround times for demanding patients and clients.
