John has been a joint owner of 2nd Nature Dental Lab since 2008. He manages the day to day running of the laboratory and is usually the first point of contact for clients.
He qualified in 1989 and has worked in various laboratories including the School of Dentistry Belfast and the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. On returning home from Saudi, he gained a position as Assistant Head of Department in the School of Dental Technology, Belfast. Here he helped to deliver and develop the BTEC National Diploma in Dental technology teaching dental materials and partial denture prosthetics.
Within the laboratory John oversees the implant prosthetics, CAD CAM and model room.

Brona is primarily a Crown and Bridge technician with a keen interest in dental ceramics. She founded 2nd Nature Dental Laboratory (previously known as Cavehill Dental Laboratory) as a solo entrepreneur in 2004.
Brona has trained and worked in various commercial laboratories across the UK and has gained considerable knowledge and experience since qualifying from Manchester in 1991.
Along with John, she moved to Saudi Arabia and worked in Riyadh, firstly in the Security Forces Hospital before transferring to the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & RC. Whilst there she got to experience working with an international dental team and dealt with many complicated oral rehabilitation cases. On returning from Saudi Brona worked for several years in the School of Dentistry Restorative Laboratory before becoming self-employed.
Within the laboratory Brona oversees all ceramic work and the design and approval of CAD restorations.
